¹⁴And David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

MERCY: Heavenly Father, I seek Your mercy in these times. Because Your mercy endures forever. We know that once we have Your mercy we also have the mercy of men and women. I look to You in this situation of my job. Lord I thank You for going before me and granting me mercy for the restoration of my job.

MERCY/FAVOUR: I thank You Lord for being with me and showing me mercy, just as You were with Joseph. Your word says that You gave Joseph favour in the sight of the chief jailer. I am Your child, thank You Lord for giving me favour in the sight of all the influential members of the panel whom I will be facing concerning my job.

GOD STIRRING UP HIS PEOPLE: My Father I thank You because I know that You are with me on this matter concerning my job. You are with me all the time! And I know that You have sons and daughters in (mention name of company). You also have men and women in (mention name of company). Stir them up by Your Spirit to help me. Let good word concerning me reach these men and women. Raise them up concerning this investigation about my job. Let them stand up for me. Let them go to work for my favour right now. The more they hear about me, the more they will fight for me.

GOD IS SOVEREIGN: My heavenly Father, the hearts of all the men and women who are investigating my case at work and all those who will make the decision concerning this case belong to You. You created them. Your word says their hearts are in Your hands and You turn them whichever way You want just as You turn the rivers of water. Lord turn their hearts to favour me. Turn their hearts to restore me to my job. Turn their hearts to bless me. Thank You Lord.

²⁵“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,^[a]
My great army which I sent among you

RESTORATION: Heavenly Father I thank You for You are the great RESTORER! Thank You Lord for rebuking the devourer and restoring my job. Thank You Lord for restoring my honour. Thank You Lord for restoring my integrity. Thank You Lord for restoring my confidence. You are the God of restoration. I possess my job at (mention name of company). Your word says: “The righteous cannot be removed”. I pursue, overtake and recover my job by Your grace Lord. Thank You Lord for removing Satan’s grip and every embargo he and his agents may have placed on my job. Thank You Lord for washing away every mark of rejection the enemy may have put on me by Your word and Your blood.

¹⁴Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

CONFIDENCE IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS: Heavenly Father I have total confidence in Your faithfulness. I know Lord that Your mercy is prevailing on my behalf concerning my job. I know that when I ask You anything according to Your will which is Your word You hear me. I will not doubt. I will not fear. I leave this matter in Your hands. I know that You will always cause me to triumph in Christ. I leave this situation with You Lord. There shall be no dismissal. Thank You Father for the victory in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
